Terms and Conditions of Service – Rocket 3 Press
This document sets forth the Terms and Conditions of the Rocket 3 Press service, a solution offered by Rocket 3, focused on the development, deployment, and initial maintenance of custom websites with a content management panel. By contracting the service, the client fully agrees to the clauses and conditions described below.
1. Scope of Service
Rocket 3 Press consists of the development of a static or dynamic website with functionalities and structure previously agreed upon between the parties, along with the delivery of a custom control panel that allows the client to make limited content updates, specifically restricted to images and text.
This service does not include future layout changes, structural modifications, color adjustments, or changes to HTML, CSS, or JavaScript components, unless additionally contracted. Any changes beyond the original scope must be requested as a new project or through the purchase of a technical support ticket.
2. Intellectual Property and Usage Restrictions
All files and code used in the Rocket 3 Press control panel are the exclusive intellectual property of Rocket 3. It is strictly prohibited to copy, redistribute, resell, make publicly available, sublicense, or use any portion of code, scripts, files, or methods provided within the control panel for purposes other than site operation and maintenance.
The software is licensed on a non-exclusive, non-transferable basis, and limited to the domain specified during implementation. Violation of this clause may lead to legal liability, including civil and criminal penalties in accordance with applicable intellectual property laws.
3. Hosting, Authentication, and Infrastructure
Rocket 3 uses Google Firebase for website hosting, user authentication, and data storage. This includes:
Web hosting and cloud database (Firestore/Realtime Database); authentication via Google account (Gmail login); and domain registration and management, if requested.
Use of Firebase services is governed by Google’s own Terms of Service. Rocket 3 is solely responsible for the initial configuration and publication of the site and panel and assumes no responsibility for policy changes, usage limits, infrastructure failures, or discontinuation of free-tier services such as Firebase Spark. The client is solely responsible for managing the Firebase account linked to their website.
The implementation uses caching mechanisms in combination with Firebase’s free-tier (Spark) plan, allowing approximately 10,000 daily loads. Each full page load is counted as a single access, regardless of whether performed by the same or different users, per Firebase’s usage policies.
4. Backups and Security
Rocket 3 does not provide backups of any data entered into the control panel or database linked to the website. Data security and persistence are the sole responsibility of Google Firebase, under the terms and limitations of the free-tier plan. Clients are strongly encouraged to regularly export their data via the admin panel or Firebase Console to ensure redundancy.
5. Technical Support
Rocket 3 offers free technical support for 7 (seven) calendar days following delivery and deployment of the website, starting from the full release of control panel access. This support exclusively covers questions related to basic operation and functionality.
After the free period, additional support requires purchasing a support ticket, with cost and scope defined upon request. Support is provided during business hours and handled in the order received, based on complexity.
6. Visual Content – Logo
If no logo is provided at the time of contract, Rocket 3 may offer a machine-generated logo via Artificial Intelligence free of charge, solely for illustrative purposes. This logo may be replaced at any time by the client via the control panel.
7. Client Responsibility
The client is responsible for:
Providing accurate and complete information for site setup; keeping Firebase and control panel credentials secure; using the panel ethically and in accordance with applicable laws; and taking full responsibility for all content published on the website.
8. Changes to Terms
Rocket 3 reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time by notifying users via digital channels. Continued use of the panel or service after changes indicates implied acceptance of the updated terms.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This agreement is governed by the laws of Brazil, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection laws in the client’s jurisdiction. By agreeing to these terms, the parties consent to resolve any disputes in the courts located in the jurisdiction of Rocket 3, unless prohibited by law in the country of residence of the client.
10. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Rocket 3 shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profit, data, or service interruption.
